  • Q. Can you see the water from our restaurant?
  • A. Yes, we have a view of the water from every table.


  • Q. Where does our seafood come from?
  • A. All of our seafood comes from local fishermen and local seafood markets.


  • Q. Do we take reservations?
  • A. We do not take reservations. If you have 9 or more people in your party, please call to put your name on our call-ahead list. While this is not a reservation, it will help us plan our seating to accomodate you as quickly as possible.


  • Q. What is our price range for Entrees?
  • A. For our lunch entrees the range is $5.99 to $17.99. Our dinner entrees range from $12.99 to $31.99.


  • Q. What kind of payment do we take?
  • A. We accept cash, Visa, MC, Discover, and travelers checks. We also accept local checks (Dare county only that have a check number higher than 1000).


  • Q. Do we serve alcohol?
  • A. Yes, we have a full ABC license. We serve beer, wine, and liquor.


  • Q. How close are we to the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse?
  • A. Depending on traffic we are 45 minutes to a little over an hour away from Cape Hatteras Lighthouse.


  • Q. How close are we to the Elizabethan Gardens & The Lost Colony?
  • A. We are about 15 minutes away from the Gardens & The Lost Colony.


  • Q. Where does the name Lone Cedar come from?
  • A. The name Lone Cedar comes from the Lone Cedar Hunt Club, a duck hunting club at the turn of the century, which was located just across the street from our present location.
