Our menus, both the daily dinner menu and the Sunday and holiday brunches, feature the freshest food we can find. Our seafood is harvested by locals and is cleaned right here on site. We even shed our own soft shells during the spring. Our veggies are locally sourced, and we grow our herbs and most of our greens here in our own organic garden. Many of our recipes are ones that have been handed down through several generations of the Basnight family, but our Culinary Institute of America-trained chefs have also brought their expertise and culinary ideas to our menu items.

On both the dinner and brunch menus, you have a huge variety to choose from. Since we do source locally, the menu items change with the season, but we always offer the freshest of seafood prepared with flair or as simple as you want it. Our beef is aged to perfection, and our hormone-free chicken dishes are favorites with regular diners. (We’re just a little famous for the fried chicken on our Sunday and holiday buffets, along with our roast turkey dinner!) Add in the fresh local vegetables – whipped sweet potatoes, our very own greens, seasonal sauté and mac ‘n cheese are some of the most popular – fresh salads, a menu-size list of appetizers and homemade cornbread and desserts, and you’re satisfying everybody at your table.
